A new airline, Air Bagan, Myanmar’s first full private investment airline, has launched a daily flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport to Yangon in Myanmar with a brand new Airbus A310-200 aircraft that the company just bought.
Air Bagan also operates domestic flights between Yangon in Myanmar and Mandalay, Nyaung U, Heho, Kyaing-Tong, Tachileik, Myitkyina, Putao, Dawei, Myeik, Kawthaung, Thandwe, Sittwe, Pathein, Nay Pyi Taw, Kalaymyo and Lashio.
The airline will soon launch daily flights to Siem Reap in Cambodia, Kunming in China, and Singapore.
At the same time Nok Air is launching a new route to Bangalore in India from Suvarnabhumi airport in Thailand.
The Thai no frill airline, is expanding into India to increase use of its existing seven aircrafts fleet and boost revenues now that the domestics routes are a well known market.
The airline will fly daily to Bangalore in India, the IT capital, on Boeing 737-400 with a capacity of 150 seats, leaving Suvarnabhumi airport at night time.
Nok Air has also tied up with international brands like Bebe, Replay, Bossini, Nike and others to offer special discounts to its flyers.
