Public buses and shuttle bus to connect Suvarnabhumi new airport to Bangkok

You can ride the airport shuttle bus or the public buses to go to downtown Bangkok, at a distance of 20 kms from Suvarnabhumi airport. Long distance buses are also available from the airport bus terminal to go directly to the province without first going to Bangkok.

The easiest way to take a bus is to wait for the airport shuttle bus just in front of the airport main terminal.
The express shuttle bus operates 4 bus routes and the cost is 150 THB for entire route, wherever you go, and the bus can stop at any bus stop on the way. When you take this bus somebody will ask you in advance where you want to stop, so the driver will know where everybody wants to leave the bus.

Shuttle bus AE1 is the Suvarnabhumi Silom route by expressway

Shuttle bus AE2 is the Suvarnabhumi Bang Lamphu route (actually Khao San Road, the backpackers street) by expressway

Shuttle bus AE3 is the Suvarnabhumi Sukhumwit SOI 3 (also called SOI Nana)

Shuttle bus AE4 is theSuvarnabhumi Hua Lamphong (Bangkok main train station) by expressway

-Airport AE1 Silom bus: No stop until Petchburi Road (end of express way), then passes by Century Park Hotel, Patunam, Ratchadamri Road, Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Lumpini Park, Silom Road, Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, Trocadero Hotel, and stops at Silom Road (opposite Lerdsin Hospital).

-Airport AE4 bus: No stop until Din Daeng, then the shuttle passes pas Century Park Hotel, Makkasan Road, Bangkok Palace Hotel, Sukhumvit soi 3 and SOI Nana, Grace Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Mariott Hotel, Central Chidlom, Le Meridien hotel, President Hotel, Siam Center, Siam Square, Phayathai Road, MBK department store, Rama 4 road, Mandarin Hotel, Bangkok Center hotel and stops at Hua Lampong (Main railway station).

Bus stops of airport AE4 bus on the way to Hua Lampong train station are Victory Monument, Soi Rangnam, 99 hotel, BTS Phayathai, Florida hotel, Livestock Department, BTS Rachatewi, Asia hotel, Siam Discovery Center, Paragon department store, MBK mall, Chulalongkorn University, Pathumwan Princess hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Bangkok Centre Hotel, and stops at Hua Lumpong Railway Station.












You can also go to downtown Bangkok by using the public bus service. The price is around 40 THB to go from Suvarnabhumi airport to Sukhumvit 21 Asoke with the public air condition bus number 552A. You must take one of theses buses at the airport bus terminal, so you first need to ride a free shuttle bus in front of the airport terminal (at the same place where also stops the express airport shuttle bus), to go to this bus terminal (5 mns ride).

Bus Number 549 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Minburi and Bangkapi (where is a famous mall)

Bus Number 550 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Onnut road, Srinakarin road, Lad prao, and Happy Land

Bus Number 551 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Victory Monument by Expressway

Bus Number 552 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Bangna, Sukhumvit , Samrong, and Samut Prakan

Bus Number 552A - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Bangna, Sukhumvit, On nut BTS, Sukhumvit straight to Asoke, then the bus turns left to Rama 4 at Asoke junction (where is the TRUE FITNESS EXCHANGE TOWER) and then Klong Toei

Bus Number 553 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Ladkrabang, Bangna, Srinakarin, Sukhumvit, Samut Prakan

Bus Number 554 - From Suvarnabhumi Airport to ring road, Ramintra, Chaeng Wattana, Vibhavadi, Don Muang Airport, and Rangsit

Bus Number 389 - This bus leaves from Bangkok Ekamai bus terminal, goes to Suvarnabhumi Airport bus terminal, and then straight to Pattaya - The price is 120 THB.
Bus Number 390 - This bus leaves Suvarnabhumi Airport and goes directy to Talad Rong Kluea, the Cambodian border.
Bus Number 825 - This bus leaves Suvarnabhumi Airport and goes directly to NongKhai, the Laos border.

Other buses are going from Suvarnabhumi airport to the Southern bus terminal near Pinklao area in Bangkok for people who want to take a bus to go to the south of Thailand, to Mo Chit Bus Terminal for people who want to take a bus to go to the north of Thailand, to Wong Wian Yai, and to Central Plaza Rama 2.
